深圳外国语学校(集团)湾区学校创办于2017年,是经教育部批准的教育先行示范项目,是粤港澳大湾区第一所先行示范学校,是打通国内国外双轨升学的融合学校。深外湾区学校面向全球招生,不限户籍国籍。学校为十二年制,覆盖小学、初中、高中学段,实行小班教学,旨在培养具有中国情怀及国际视野的创新型人才。
Shenzhen Foreign Languages Greater Bay Area Academy (SGA) has been initially invested in, and established by the Shenzhen Municipal Government, and is managed by Shenzhen Foreign Languages School. As a pilot programme approved by Ministry of Education, at SGA, we provide the integrated curriculum of CNC standards and IB framework to our students, which includes both expatriate and Chinese children. SGA develops internationally-minded innovators with a strong grounding in Chinese culture.

We are committed to developing students who have a clear sense of moral purpose. At SGA we are nurturing leaders in technology who are global networkers, with a strong grounding in Chinese culture. As such we have exercised global recruitment for experienced Chinese and expatriate teachers. We will deliver the rigour and rounded values of the International Baccalaureate programme and integrate with traditional Chinese culture and language studies. We always endeavour to enrich our curriculum by equipping students with essential skills in languages, arts, sports, humanity and science.

Description of Position: 
Deputy Head of Primary 小学部副校长

Basic requirements
  1. A Master’s degree or higher
  2. Current administrative certification highly desirable
  3. Excellent communication skills (Chinese -English)
Experience
  1. At least 3 years administrative/leadership experience in a sizeable school setting.  Excellent teaching experience highly preferred. 
  2. Experience in supervising academic, pastoral and program development and facilitating implementation.
  3. Experience in developing and achieving an organization’s strategic plan and development initiatives.
  4. Demonstrated success in a multi-cultural environment, with overseas experience highly desirable
  5. Proven track record in leading change and school improvement initiatives.
  6. Experience in staff supervision and evaluation, with demonstrable knowledge of supervisory and administrative theory and practice.
  7. Experience in student pastoral care and child safety  with demonstrable knowledge of supervisory and administrative and parent communication
  8. Strong commitment to, and proven record of, fostering community involvement and support.

  7. Professional awareness about the role of technology in 21st century schools.
  8. Ability to engage in multiple tasks, to motivate, collaborate and inspire others.
  9. Ability to build teams, including school and community partnerships.
  10. Results oriented, self-motivated, dynamic, energetic and creative
  11. Excellent organizational and managerial skills including the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team
